Don Knuth Article from 2006

I missed this article from Stanford Magazine. The article is nothing deep, but still a nice summary overview of Knuth's life and work. I like this quote:
“If I had been good at making estimates of how long something was going to take, I never would have started.”

HP Calculator History Videos

HP has two calculator videos up. The first, longer video is a short overview of the history of HP calculators, with the amusing hippopotamus story. The second video, Death of a slide rule, focuses move specifically on the first scientific calculator, the HP-35.
